Dan King
Dan King is a seasoned leader in the energy industry, serving as CEO and Founder of Enerverse, LLC. With over 30 years of experience, Dan has established himself as a proven strategist, project developer, and executive leader, shaping the future of North American energy infrastructure.
Since founding Enerverse in 2005, Dan has led the company in developing high-quality energy projects, focusing on sustainable solutions that integrate well with local communities and stakeholders. Under his leadership, Enerverse has successfully delivered impactful energy projects that balance economic feasibility with environmental responsibility. Specifically, his work has positioned Enerverse as a key player in South Texas’ energy market, where he has led the development of over 3,500 MW of operating generation within ERCOT ( www.bordasenergy.com ).
Before launching Enerverse, Dan was Executive Vice President of DKRW Wind, where he spearheaded the company’s wind energy portfolio, navigating the complexities of renewable energy finance, project execution, and regulatory compliance. His tenure at Constellation Energy Group, now Exelon Corporation, further solidified his expertise in fossil fuel and renewable energy development. As Vice President of Renewable Energy, he managed Constellation’s renewable portfolio, and in his previous role as Vice President of Origination, he oversaw energy project development and deal structuring across the southern United States.
Dan’s extensive leadership in project development extends beyond traditional corporate environments. His time at GE Energy, now GE Vernova, placed him at the forefront of commercial oversight and business development, where he directed sales and strategy for multiple power generation products and services. This breadth of experience across both multinational corporations and entrepreneurial ventures has made Dan uniquely skilled at understanding the challenges and opportunities that companies face at different stages of growth.
